The second heart-stopping shooter by Monolith (after F.E.A.R.) continues the spine-tingling supernatural suspense story of an escalating paranormal crisis
that threatens to destroy a major American city. At the center of the calamity is the mysterious Alma, whose rage against those who wronged her triggered a chain
of events that has spiraled completely out of control. Now that she has been loosed upon the world, the consequences will be unimaginable.
Although this game is technically a follow-up to F.E.A.R., the game will not carry the F.E.A.R. franchise name due to a shift in publishers -- instead, it

-- piece of single-player downloadable content for the spooky shooter
F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin. The DLC is said to have four levels and
should give players control of a new (and mysterious) protagonist
after Alma goes Hulk-Hogan-wild on the city.

Experience four brand new single-player levels in thisadditional DLC
campaign for F.E.A.R.2! Coinciding with the events seen in the full
game, you will experience the chaos of Almaï¿½s aftermath from an
entirely new point of view: that of Replica Soldier 813. Your mission
begins with an orbital Powered Armor drop to reinforce your fellow
Replica squadï¿½ But not everything is as it seems. Supernatural events
run wild in the apocalyptic remains of Auburn. Another voice is
beckoning you; contradicting orders from Replica command. Find out
the answer to this, and many new questions, in the DLC campaign
F.E.A.R.2: Reborn!
Also available for each system is the free Slow-Mo Deathmatch update
where players can utilize the new slow-mo power-up. Aside from
slowing down enemies onscreen, the longer a player holds onto the
power-up, the more objective points they accumulate. However the
power-up also acts as a doubled-edge sword in the sense that anyone
who possesses the ability also becomes a "big" target for everyone
else on the playing field.
